若我知道過去的一切罪債都已蒙神恩免，現在的一切都有主大能的加強，將來的一切滿帶榮耀的盼望，我怎麼能不時刻歡喜，怎麼能不信心滿滿呢？
永世裡的一切真實，不會因我心情的起伏而改變；我若因疑惑神的應許失望跌倒，聖經也不會因此縮減一點；這些話語反而要像珍珠所緊緻鑲嵌起來的山巔，其尖峰聳入雲端，其根基立定在神堅固的磐石上。
這就如同白朗峰不會因著登山客的幻象，平白無故的消失無蹤。

我們若不信神的話語，那得不到祂應許中的福分，豈不是合情合理的嗎？
但這並不代表信心能賄賂神成就應許，也不表示信心為神的應許打了穩穩的包票。
它的意思乃是，信心是得著神應許的先決條件。神有絕對的主權決定祂賜恩的時機和條件。
